What We Do | Europe: MDA Searches

MDA is one of the largest providers of authoritative property search information in the UK. A complete search of this information is essential for the conveyancing of a property, as it provides the buyer with all known subjects and limitations associated with the property. These searches are conducted primarily by conveyancing solicitors, but also by lenders and others involved in property related transactions.

MDA's search business provides customers with a full suite of search services including, electronic searches, personal searches, and any combination thereof. Financing options are available to defer the cost of such searches. Electronic searches are offered through two brands, each representing unique features, but both providing electronic access to the national land information services (NLIS).

MDA operates two of the four currently licensed NLIS Channels:

Transactions Online (www.transaction-online.co.uk) and
SearchFlow (www.searchflow.co.uk)

These licensed channels provide conveyancing solicitors and others with a single point of electronic access to search for authoritative property information held by the NLIS data providers.

Personal searches are also offered through two unique brands:

Property Search Agency (www.psa.co.uk)
MDA Searches (www.searches.mda.co.uk)

The breadth of collective features offered by way of the four brand choices are the result of the recent merger of two complimentary search businesses, one operated by MDA and the other by Property Flow.
